A bit later opening the nets today as Chris had a painful back which restricted movement, but all Standard opened by 0545 and Non-standard by 0715 with all nets closed at 1245. Janne arrived on the first boat and helped with net rounds and we ended up with a very good 147 new birds of 16 species, including the 3rd Yellow-browed Warbler and 5th Red-breasted Flycatchers for the year and a late Garden Warbler.
All things considered a good mornings work.
Will be 5 at the Obs overnight: Chris, Kay, Janne, Sue and Beryl (these last two being visitors from the Isle of Man).
