Stronger winds than forecast so restricted number of nets opened (again) at BMAR with ringing taking place from 0645 until 1230 with nets being closed as the wind increased until it was too windy to operate any nets. Compared with recent days it was a poor catch of just 79 new birds of 17 species, with nothing noteworthy caught.

Birds ringed SUDD
At SUDD Liam and the others opened 6 nets at 0700 and operated netting there until 1130 with 31 new birds of 8 species to give 110 overall of 17 species.
Mårten N, Mårten W, Anna and Fredrik left on the 1330 ferry and Albin arrived on the morning boat to give 12 at the Obs overnight: Chris, Kay, Janne, Bosse, Liam, Rasmus, Jacob, Jon, Ebba, Mattias, Hans and Albin.
The most significant news of the weekend is that Mårten W and Anna got engaged a couple of weeks ago. A great bloke and a lovely lady who have been a pleasure to share company with on this trip and the last. Kay, I and the others wish them well for their future!!
