The continuing strong NE winds restricted net opening to 17 nets at 0630, nets being closed progressively as the wind increased. Netting finally stopped at 1130, by which time only 7 nets were still open.

Birds ringed
78 new birds of 16 species including 5 Bullfinch (Domherre), the first of the autumn at BMAR, two having been caught earlier in the week at SUDD.
While Kay took advantage of the poor weather to go to Nynäshamn for much needed food shopping, Chris washed all the bird bags, the only plus side to the strong wind being that they are already dry!!!!!
Will be 3 at the Obs tonight: Chris, Kay and Stefan.
