After a missed day yesterday due to a bad weather forecast giving us the chance to head 'to land' to sort out the truck ready for the return to IOM and for Kay to go to the dentist. As it turned out maybe a bit of ringing could have been done yesterday morning but rain would have stopped much of it.
At last - a change in wind direction and a reduction in strength resulted in 21 nets opened at 070 and operated until 1500. A great mornings ringing resulted in 353 new birds of 20 species, including 130 more Siskin and our second Great Grey Shrike of the autumn.

Great help from Tore who wrote up the notes, made coffee and helped empty near nets of re-traps.
After data-entry not a lot of time for much else today, but just found out I may have sold a slo-mo clip of a Chameleon I filmed in Madagascar last October!!
