Landsort diary 24th October 2016

15 nets opened at 0700 but closed to just 8 at 0800 as the wind increased. All 8 nets closed at 1045 as rain came rather heavy with it showing constant rain on SMHI and on radar!!! Despite this the rain was just intermittent but enough, together with the strong winds to keep nets closed.

 

Despite less than 4 hours ringing with just a few nets a total of 112 new birds of 15 species were caught.
