Birds ringed
A total of 43 new birds of 18 species took the annual total past 3500 birds. Included in this were 9 Red-backed Shrike and our third Wood Warbler and fourth Sedge Warbler of the year. Four more Icterine Warbler took the total to 62 for the year, passing the previous best year of 2014 when 61 were caught.
Lecture given to just one person but lots of interesting questions and discussion that went on for 2 hours - seems to pass quickly when plenty of interest being shown.
