Landsort diary 25th August 2016

All nets opened at 0430 and closed at 1130 with 34 new birds of 13 species.

 

A quieter day today with the need for a change in wind direction to get birds moving.

 

Problems with a female Sparrowhawk near the Obs continue.

 

Changed four of the nets at Bredmar for better nets that were in storage, so now fully set for the autumn season!!!

 

Kays daughter, Sorcha, arrives at the Obs today, so it will be three overnight.
