Landsort diary 22nd August 2016

Overnight rain had cleared with a thick mist by the time all 30 nets opened at 0430. Remained misty for the first part of the netting session, gradually clearing to give calm, sunny conditions which continued until all nets closed at 1130.
 
A total of 52 new birds of 15 species including the first Marsh Tit for a while.
 
Giving a talk to the Nobel Foundation at 1800 and preparing some update reports for the Board this afternoon.
 
Just Chris & Kay at the Obs tonight.
