Landsort diary 23rd June 2016

Early rain at 0400 delayed opening nets until 0600 when all 30 nets were opened until 1100. A total of just 5 new birds of 3 species.

 

A Green Sandpiper flew from the ground just near the road west net, nearly got it!!!

 

This afternoon will be spent repairing board walks on the north net round.

 

Just three at the Obs again this evening: Liam, Chris & Kay
