Landsort diary 12th September 2016

A calm morning had all 30 nets open at 0500 and closed at 1200. A decent enough morning but not busy with just 61 new birds of 12 species.

 

While Kay headed to the mainland in the afternoon for food Chris put padlocks on the SUDD nets, washed bird bags and had a bit of a tidy up.

 

Seems quiet here today after a full Obs over the weekend. Good to catch up with everyone, some for the first time this year. Re-enforces the good positive feel to the Obs nowadays.
