Landsort diary 1st September 2016

14 nets opened at 0515 once it was light enough to see which could be opened safely in the strong SW wind. Although the wind eventually decreased a bit only those nets were opened through the morning. Nets closed at 1145, with just 10 birds of 3 species caught. A disappointing morning!!!

 

Janne will leave the island on the late ferry to give just Chris & Kay at the Obs overnight.
