Landsort diary 15th September 2016

Overcast to start with, then a mist came down shortly after all nets opened at 0500. Mist cleared early morning as did the cloud to leave a hot calm morning. All nets closed by 1300.

Despite the sunny, hot, conditions it was another good day for catching with 210 new birds of 13 species with the first autumn catch of Yellow-browed Warbler among them,

Another tiring but good day - 460 new birds in 2 days.

SUDD nets not used.

Janne might be out tonight, so it could be 2 or 3 at the Obs overnight.
