Landsort diary 13th September 2016

Calm and cloudy most of the morning. All nets opened at 0500 and closed at 1200. A good mornings ringing with 126 new birds of 13 species,

 

Although there were several large and small flocks of Siskin passing over and flying too and fro over the site we caught a grand total of 0 !!! How can that be ?????

 

Might do some reduction of canopy height later.
