Landsort diary 2nd September 2016

Up at 0430 but strong SW winds delayed net opening until 0530 when it was light enough to see which nets could be opened. 18 nets opened with a forecast for the wind to decrease but some of these closed after 30mins because the wind increased!!!! Eventually the wind did decrease, so 19 nets were eventually opened with all closed at 1345.

A total of 24 new birds of 7 species.

Roger called out for the day, as did Anders who spent a bit of time out trying to get some decent pictures.

There will be 6 at the Obs tonight: Chris, Kay, Niklas, Mikael, Lasse and Peter.
