Landsort diary 17th September 2016

Most nets opened at 0500 with the remaining two opened as the wind decreased around 0630. A quieter day than recently with 74 new birds of just 6 species including the first Meadow Pipit of the autumn. Non-standard nets closed at 1000 and Standard at 1200
 
A guided talk to 20 members of the Stockholm Ornithological Club who were out for the day led by Gunilla and Mova.
 
Janne and Bosse headed north in the early morning to migration watch. Bosse is still up there but Janne returned early as he left the island at 1330,
 
SUDD nets not operated.
 
There will be five at the Obs overnight: Chris, Kay, Bosse, Gunilla and Mova.
