Landsort diary 26th September 2016

A stronger wind overnight resulted in just 20 nets opened at 0530, with the remaining 10 opened at 0630. All closed at 1230, After a poor start with just 3 birds in the first round the morning improved thanks to catching flocks of Siskin which pulled the total up to 133 new birds of 11 species.

 

Not a lot else to report today. Will be four overnight at the Obs: Chris, Kay, Sue and Beryl.
