Landsort diary 8th September 2016

A calm clear start to the morning with all nets opened at 0445. A mist descended on the island for a short while after sunrise but a bit too late to cause a big fall of migrants!!! It cleared quickly to leave a calm clear day, feeling very like autumn!

 

A total of 62 new birds of 12 species.

 

Janne arrived in the afternoon and Pelle left on the last boat to give three at the Obs overnight
