Landsort diary 10th July 2016

A strong westerly wind at 0400 meant not all nets could be opened at first but by 0600 it had dropped enough for the remaining nets to be opened, with all nets closed at 1100.

Another good July mornings ringing produced a further 23 new birds of 10 species.

The cloudy weather that had been with us most of the morning cleared by 1100 and probably influenced how many people turned up for the 1130 'drop-in' lecture - 0 attendance.

Apart from end of week administration not a lot planned for the rest of the day.

Seems like it will probably be just Chris & Kay at the Obs overnight.
