Landsort diary 23rd july 2016

All nets opened at 0400 with non-standard nets closed at 1030 and standard at 1200. 37 new birds of 14 species.

A re-trap Marsh Tit was from the one nest box of that species where we ringed the young. All four of the young ringed have now been re-caught in our nets, good fledging success!!!

A guided talk for four people took place at 1100.

Still trying to find the energy to trim the front grass before the end of the weekend - maybe later!!!

Just Chris & Kay at the Obs tonight but from tomorrow all rooms are booked up for the next 10 days.
