Landsort diary 15th May 2016

28 nets opened at 0400 but decreased to 21 by the time the rain arrived just before 1100 when all nets were closed for the day.

 

28 new birds of 15 species including the first Tree Pipit of the year and a total of five Pied Flycatcher.

 

Rain falling now and due to rain all through the night, so a bit of a rest is planned for the afternoon.

 

Rasmus and Mikaela left on the 1330 ferry, leaving just Chris and KAy at the Obs tonight.
