Landsort diary 4th May 2016

All nets opened at 0430 and decision taken that as from tomorrow we will open at 0400!!!

 

Nets closed at 1200 with 39 new birds of 11 species, with two Wryneck being the highlight.

 

A quiet mornings ringing on a splendid spring day. Good to be here, just wish the birds felt the same!

 

Pelle left at 0930 leaving just Kay & Chris for the day with Lasse Cedar arriving this evening. During the day Roger arrived to discuss plans for the bathroom fitting and to help us finish the planters for outside. All done and some filled with soil.

 

6 nest boxes completed and the first ice creams of the season eaten. All in all a good day.
