All nets open at 0430 and closed at 1200 with 48 new birds of 14 species. First Whinchat of the season seen towards the north end of the netting area.

First set of 20 tick samples sent off, as part of work we are doing on behalf of a researcher, income going towards the running costs of the organisation.

This afternoon we are starting to make nest boxes for sale to raise money to offset running costs.
