Landsort diary 5th May 2016

All nets opened at 0400 and closed at 1200 with just 29 new birds of 9 species. Extremely quiet on the island for migrating birds!!

A guiding took place, led by Monica for 14 people but by 1215 when they arrived there was regrettably no birds to show them.

In the afternoon a 'new' sofa was obtained from a house in the village, followed by a walk to Norrhamn where the pair of Slavonian Grebe were still present and a solitary Redshank was seen.

Tonight there are 7 at the Observatory: Chris, Kay, Lasse Cedar, Oda Landberg, Mova, Magnus and Vera Hebert.
