Landsort diary 20th May 2016

All nets open at 0400 and closed at 1145 after three blank net rounds - is this spring???

Total of 22 new birds of 13 species, including three new for the year: Marsh Warbler, Red-breasted Flycatcher and Rosefinch - a cracking male.

After a quick lunch it was off round the net rides again, but this time to strim the growing vegetation.

All done as well as the front 'lawn', under the seats and up on top of the hill where the view point is.
Kay finished off painting the lower part of the house - mainly the sides of both sets of steps.

Finished work at 1700, showered and having a Gin & Tonic to celebrate Kays birthday tomorrow.
